MagentoLive is an annual two-day conference held in Sydney, which brings the biggest innovators in eCommerce and customers together to discover what’s new in the world of digital commerce and the Magento ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region.

The purpose of the event was to highlight Magento’s strength in experience-driven commerce and to create a networking and education space that inspires aspiring retailers to take their business into the future.
Blackie McDonald was commissioned to coordinate the media relations and drive coverage of MagentoLive Australia. Focusing primarily on the Australian business, retail, technology, and trade media we worked closely with journalists, Magento and their customers to generate stories around the MagentoLive2019 event, Magento’s product offering, and their client success stories.
From a public relations perspective, our approach was to maintain journalist relationships and liaise with Magento’s customers to capitalise on potential media opportunities to ensure maximum coverage and publication was achieved for the event. With an onsite attendance of 8-10 press and analysts, interviews were scheduled and secured for media publications including RetailBiz, Inside Retail, CMO, Power Retail and Which-50.
Blackie McDonald achieved a total of 23 pieces of editorial coverage featuring Magento and their customers across Australian and New Zealand media with a total audience of over 2,754,200.
